Συμμετοχή της Δρ. Ε. Κώτου στο Συνέδριο Aquaculture Europe 2021 που διεξήχθη μεταξύ 4 και 7 Οκτωβρίου 2021 στη Μαδέρα της Πορτογαλίας προκειμένου να παρουσιάσει εργασία με αποτελέσματα από την υποενότητα 2.2 του Έργου και με τίτλο: “ HEAT-TREATED SOYBEAN MEAL: EFFECTS ON DIETARY ISOFLAVONE GENISTEIN CONTENT AND Sparus aurata JUVENILES GROWTH INDEXES, IMMUNE, ANTIOXIDANT, LIPOGENIC & DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS”.

Συμπεράσματα

Replacement of FM with untreated SBM significantly affected the selected growth indexes and biomarkers responses. Further, heat treatment of SBM increased the content of genistein. Most of the growth indexes were affected but only FCR, fish total body length and digestibility of lipids & carbohydrates were statistical significantly influenced compared to untreated-SBM. Changes of lipogenic & digestive biomarkers responses were not significant after heat treatment, whereas the most immune and enzymatic antioxidant biomarkers were significantly altered after SBM heat treatment. Results obtained pointed out to take into consideration the possible consequences of SBM treatment and dietary isoflavone genistein on nutritional value of fish diet and S. aurata juveniles growth and health status.
